August 11th- Students first day back

September 4th- Labor Day Holiday

September 20th -Teacher Planning - no students 

October 13th - Livingston Parish Fair Holiday

November 1st - Teacher Planning - no students

November 20-24th - Thanksgiving Holiday

December 21st - End of 1st Semester

December 22nd-January 4th - Christmas Holiday



January 5th - Second semester begins

January 15th - Martin Luther King Day 

February 12th -16th  - Mardi Gras

March 6th - Teacher Planning - no students

March 29th - April 5th - Easter

May 24th - Last Day of School




-Each eligible child will receive payments totaling $120 to cover both June and July. If you already have an Automated Benefit Card the funds will be automatically loaded onto the cards.
-Eligibility includes all LPPS students enrolled in May 2023.

A Message from the LPPS system:

Dear Parents,


On behalf of Livingston Parish Public Schools, we are requesting you assist us in our efforts to maintain our schools open so we can continue to educate your children.  


If anyone in your family has symptoms of any illness, please keep all of your students home until everyone in the family is symptom free for 24 hours without the use of medicine.


If you have any questions or concerns, please call ELEC at (225) 686-4246.  Someone there will be happy to help answer your questions.


Again, please do not send any member of your family to any of our school campuses if they are experiencing any symptoms of illness.
